The server needs to be accessible using other clients, the main ones like mopar and silabsoft, should be able to run it.
Was 517 a good idea? we did not have enough players in the first place, to start up the 517.
Its my friend via different game, he uses a VPS to run some Hostbots, wouldnt be much trouble to run a little command prompt would it.

And its more than just a little command prompt. There's a java control panel, a webserver, a mysql server. etc. all needed for the game to work.
