You should try and find another coder to help you with all this hard work and possibly get a second person to host the game so its on longer until we get a vps

I know your new, so I'l repeat what has been said before, I don't trust random people with the source, i'm afraid. If it was someone who i'd gotten to know, was good at coding, dedicated, etc. I would probably give them the server. I'm too old for this.

You don't need to be good to run a server.
If a VPS was introduced and, maybe you gave access to it, then we could all learn more.
(and i find myself to pick up on certain things easily, and at first it would not be about adding new things rather than improving what you already have)
