Donations bar shows how much money the server has and how much it costs for getting a host so the server runs 24/7 so we can see how close we are to this being the best server ever =[)

Its difficult to add, and impossible on forumotion im afraid. but its already installed on the new forums in development! So soon you will be able to see how little donations we get.

As john said, it's damb near impossible without going into depth and developing our own, however that might make it possible to hack paypal
