PS LOGO trouble Empty PS LOGO trouble

Post by versochi November 22nd 2010, 9:05 pm

I'm having trouble coming up with a logo design for powerscape.

The actual logo, like for example, a image, not the text.

I think ive done 2 different attemps, tryin to use my imagination, buts its not working.

Is there something specific that could help me design it, something that we need.

Like, in general it will be some kind of design with PSOnline next to it (powerscape online is way too long)

    okay heres some ideas:

    1. Just 'Powerscape'. No online needed really, only place we have that is in URL.
    2. Have the colour scheme white and very dark blue OR white and light grey, to go with the new forums.
    3. Use gradients rather than just plain fill, to make it more exciting.
    4. Use particle effects. An example of colour scheme and effects you can see here:
      PS LOGO trouble Colour10

    5. For the new forums:
      PS LOGO trouble Size10
    6. And last of all, just make it look proffessional. Not too many colours or wacky fonts. Smooth aliased edges UNLIKE the diagonal line in ms paint.

    I meant the logo :L

You could use the one you have, but try incorporating some of my suggestions. IE: the light blue in circle, make it less bright and more towards the grey section to avoid bringing your eyes to that rather than the text. Make it overall a little smaller and add particle effects and BOOM.

Urm if we're actually going to move ill re-enable registration on the forums so that anyone can register again...?

Hmm i found a tutorial the other day for making signatures however ideally that's kinda what we want for the logo text. I'll see if i can find it again.
