This is a message i sent to robin after he said staff jobs were not working very well.
well maybe we should re-sort staff positions, as in work out who would make a good player mod, content advisor, forum mod, graphic designer, graphics team, tutorial team?, and prehaps positions like normal mod becomes player mod and server admin should become Higher Mod. Player Mods would be people who are just normal players, with ::kick and ::mute. Higher Mod, would be the veteran players who also contribute to other areas of the server development and can access: ::ban ::ipban ::item (with restrictions) ::psetlevel ::setlevel etc.
Current System:
Mod
Admin
Co-Owner
Owner
Forum Admin
Everything highlighted in red has pretty much the same job.
Proposed System:
Player Mod - Job to keep basic discipline and help new players. Commands available: ::kick ::mute ::unmute
Higher Mod/Staff Mod - Job is to input something towards the server (ie:graphics) and to have been an experienced "Player Mod". Also higher discipline as level of responsibility and trust increases. Commands: ::kick ::mute ::unmute ::ban ::ipban ::item ::setlevel
Owner - Usual Job (Coding, controlling finance and generally making descisions and keeping control)
Forum Mod - Deleting, Moving, Stickying, and Locking topics.
Forum Admin - Set categories, change designs and features.
Graphic Designer - Making banners, videos and other requested graphics.
Graphics team - assisting graphic designer.
Content Manager - Working out problems and changes needed in the server and things that may need adding/fixing. Once done make an official report document on your findings.
Content team - Spotting Problems and pointing them out to the content manager.
Economy Manager - Someone to set all the prices and drops and rates.
Economy assistant - Help out manager.
